Privacy

CopyHaven copies your files to your own drive or network folder, and nowhere else. We never see your files, their names, or anything about them.

The app

• No account, no cloud, no tracking. CopyHaven doesn't collect or send anything about you, your PC or how you use it.
• Update checks. The only time CopyHaven goes online is to check download.copyhaven.com.au for a new version, and to download it. Like any web request, that tells our web host your internet address and that a copy of CopyHaven asked.
• Your licence key is checked on your PC, without going online.
• Problem reports and Get help. If CopyHaven runs into a problem, it can put the details in an email for you to send us. You see everything in it first, and nothing is sent unless you send it. The details include the names of your folders and drives, which helps us find the problem.

Buying a licence

Our online shop is run by Paddle, who sell CopyHaven for us as the merchant of record. Paddle collects your payment details, name, email address, and country under its own privacy policy. We never see your card details.

Paddle tells us your name, email address, and what you bought. We keep these with your licence key, so we can send the key again if you lose it, and handle refunds. Your key is emailed to you through Resend, and the record is kept with Cloudflare. Paddle, Resend, and Cloudflare may store information outside Australia, including in the United States and the United Kingdom.

This website

copyhaven.com.au uses no cookies, no analytics, and no advertising. The only page that loads anything from another company is the Buy page, which opens Paddle's checkout; every other page loads nothing from other companies. Our web host keeps standard access logs (internet address, page, and time) for security, for a limited time.

Emails you send us

We keep support emails so we can help you, and don't share them with anyone.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing support@copyhaven.com.au. We'll reply within 30 days. We handle personal information under the Australian Privacy Principles. If you're not happy with how we've dealt with a concern, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
